Jagat Arts, Commerce and Indiraben Hariharbhai Patel Science College, Goregaon Dist, Gondia, run by Bahujan Hitay Jagat Shikshan Sanstha, Gondia, is established in July,1992 at Goregaon, a socially and economically backward place in Gondia district in a very good campus area of 3.90 Acres (built-up area 3051.18 Sq. meter). The building is owned by the Management. It was founded by great visionary and philanthropist President Shri Jagatramji Rahangdale and Secretary Shri Narayanji Yede for the noble mission of imparting quality education. Our College is in rural Area and naxalite Region. Our college is permanently affiliated to Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur. Our college is under section of 2(f) & 12B of UGC act. Co-education is provided by the institution. The college runs UG and PG courses with YCMOU center & identifies itself as one of the premier educational institutions of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University Nagpur. The college has been re-accredited with B grade by NAAC, with CGPA of 2.31. Our college aims to educate the rural people, spread up literacy to the end point of rural area and to remove superstitions from the society to build up the strong nation.
